celebrated a birthday dinner here. After experiencing busy restaurants, we were quite surprised to find the restaurant empty. Guess that reservation wasn't necessary. They claim to import all seafood from the market of the same name in Tokyo. The menu is extensive with Japanese dishes from edamame and pot stickers to Udon, Karage chicken and of course Sushi. We started with edamame and pot stickers, which were not really hot and served with a cold soy sauce. Not just room temp sauce but cold. A bit off putting but edible. Next round was tempura combo, okonomiyaki, and green salad. best okonamiyaki i've ever had. Salad had interesting dressing but with a little bite.Tempura was clean tasting and not greasy. Also ordered grilled chicken breast on skewer. Good. hubby ordered some unagi, his fave sushi. It was world class. Sweet, unctuous, and very fresh tasting. Last item was a sushi roll called Peachy. Unagi, salmon, cucumber, mayo rolled in seaweed then rice. Tempura breaded and flash fried. Really delicious but too much to finish. a lot of very outstanding food here. highly recommended.
