Truth or Consequences report

Bar-B-Que On Broadway
308 N Broadway St
(downtown, one-way going east)
Phone:  (505) 894-7047

Locally popular for breakfast, with good reason. We both had exceptional ham & cheese omelettes, good biscuits, decent coffee. Service was slow, but the place was full. Recommended, as is the Best Western where we spent te night -- clean & quiet, and cheaper than the others nearby.

How's the Que?

La Cocina Restaurant, uphill from Super 8 motel, near main freeway exit. (505) 894-6499

This is reputedly the best Mexican place in town. OK but unremarkable. Pretty place, slow service even though it was near-empty.

Other TorC recos?

Cheers -- Pete Tillman

PS: the Geronimo Spgs museum is worth a visit, especially if you like old Indian pots.
