I became interested in truffles about 10 years ago.
Mainly whites (a.k.a. Alba, a.k.a. Tuber Magnatum), from Piemonte, Toscana, Umbria & Istria. Different years, it turns out, different stuff. This last year (end 2014) has been, in my opinion, the best on record. Unbelievable flavor, size, overall quality and specially, amazing taste. Is it just me?
