Just recieved my 1-1oz. truffle for Valentines dinner.
I know you can store them in a bowl with eggs to impart their aroma. Does anyone know if I can just put it into the egg carton to save much needed shelf space in my frig, or would that be a bad idea. I guess I'm thinking the cardboard carton might just steal all that aroma for itself.
And is just one day and a half really enough time for the eggs to pick up any of their aroma in the first place?
