this is a new cafe that opened this week in ball square, somerville (across from victors and sound bites).

they took down the wall between the old ice cream and pizza places were and created a very nice space. about ten tables and leather sofa and loveseat.

brewed loose teas from mem. no teapots yet, but they brew the tea in a twelve-ounce glass mug. bagels, muffins, tea breads, soups, salads and sandwiches on great breads. a nice touch -- half sandwiches for $3.50. i had a roast beef and boursin on whole wheat, which came toasted -- another nice touch.

they seem to be doing pretty well for their first week, and i hope that continues. i live at the top of winter hill, and love having a place like this i can walk to -- particularly one open seven days.
