Trouble with Viking Induction Range, Again!

Five years ago, I renovated my kitchen. I needed a new stove, fell in LOVE with a Viking range. I really wanted induction, needed a slide-in, and 30 inches worked best with my island and modest sized kitchen. This one had it all. And a red door. One thing led to another and the whole kitchen was redone (which it needed). I arranged all the details of my renovation around this range. It is beautiful. And it is a lemon, as far as i can tell. One side of the induction burners died. That cost a lot to replace. The oven broke on Christmas day for the third time, after slightly malfunctioning on Thanksgiving. Yep, the third time. The second time it took over three months to get the replacement parts. Who knows what will happen this time. And because part of the oven failure (besides it not turning on) is that the fan runs continually, I have to shut it off at the circuit breaker. So even thought the stove top works, i can't have the noisy fan running all day; its loud. So, functionally I don't even have the stove top unless I want to go into the basement and trip the circuit every time I want to use the burners. Has anyone else had this problem? For over $6,000 I'd expect a stove to last more than five years. And I'm ready to haul the thing out onto a busy street with a sign that says "DON'T BUY THIS STOVE!!!!!!" At the time, there were only two ranges that met my criteria. Now at least there are many options. But I shouldn't have to replace a very expensive name-brand appliance this soon. What to do? Any experience with this range? Recommendations for a new range (range, 30 inch, induction, slide-in)?
