I will be taking a friend who used to live in Nepal to Tibetan Yak, as I've heard this is where a number of Nepali ex-pats go to eat, and that the food is very good (although it is not Nepali - I've heard that specials sometimes reflect Nepali dishes).
Last time I was in JH I snagged the menu, and it all looks very good, but I was wondering if there were any "must-trys". Also, are any of the dishes considered to be more of Nepali origin than Tibetan?
And finally, are there any bars in the area that have an Indian feel to them? (I've gone to several Korean joints, but haven't noticed anything else besides the Latin lounges.) I know that Indians aren't known for their drinking, but there are quite a number of Indian beers, so I was just curious. It could be a cool end to the evening.
