We just returned from four days in NO and our dinner at Coquette was by far our favorite. We also ate at Galatoire's, Gautreau's and August. While all the meals were very good, the menu choices seemed fairly routine (maybe it was a bad time of year for seafood). Coquette, on the other hand, was exceptional in the choice of fresh ingredients and the flavors of the sauces to accompany the main entrees, which included duck and red snapper. Even our desserts were noteworthy for their unique qualities and deliciousness.
