My trip to Hollywood Hills (Coffee Shop?)

PHIL | Aug 24, 2001 09:29 PM

I went to this place to have the much ballyooed corned beef hash. And I suppose if you like uncooked food that makes you feel like you drank lemon juice, costs 9 bucks and is about a quarter of a cup full, this is the hash for you. ugh. Also this place is definitely not a coffee shop anymore. I have never been inside the other location, but I guess it had all the fixings that a coffee shop has, like counters and stuff like that. But what I would really like to know is about a place that I saw driving on Vermont. It had no name that I could see, but it looked like an old diner from the 30's, and it said "eat now, dine later". It was on the corner across the street from the Los Feliz 3 theater(yes another big single screen theater they had to cut in thirds).
