I need some help with a trip to your city around Dec 5th

raybon | Nov 20, 201406:21 PM     17

First off I want to apologize for taking the lazy route (not searching the history of the boston board), but I am coming to your fair city from Toronto the week end of Dec 5th. It is really just a food and drinking trip. A good friend of mine in the seafood business in Toronto has told me to visit Union Oyster House, Neptune, and the Island Creek Oyster Bar (he is a shellfish guy to be sure). He also recommended Sweet Cheeks BBQ. I generally trust his judgement, correct me if you think he is off. I arrive late Thursday night with my wife (celebrating my fortieth), and will be in need of a good casual late night dinner/snack spot. We are staying at the Loews. Friday I have a couple of friends and family arriving after lunch (so a good lunch pick for friday) and we will need to go for drinks then dinner (about 6-10 people). Then we are there for the rest of the weekend. Considering I don't know much about Boston, any advice would be great. I am really excited about the seafood in your city. From divey bar to upscale. We will be a bunch of roving, drinking and eating enthusiasts. Consider that the more divey places we go in the day, we are left with more to spend in the evening.
