A Tribute To Clarence D. Williams, Jr. (Indianapolis)

Matt | Nov 4, 2005 08:56 AM

Last week Indianapolis lost a true gem in an act of senseless violence. Clarence D. Williams, Jr., owner of C-Daddy's BBQ, was killed in an armed robbery. I never got a chance to eat there, but after reading the review linked below it was high on my list of places to check out. The outpouring of emotion in the Haughville neighborhood since Mr. Williams death is a testament to what a wonderful person he was. I wish his family and friends well and I'm saddend that C-Daddy's, a place where the food was created and served with love, is gone from the Chowhound universe.
