Triangle: Taqueria Superior

Following hound advice I paid a visit to Taqueria Superior on Roxboro Road in Durham. The experience was very bare bones, but the food was cheap and flavorful, and the fellow behind the counter was a good sport about my lousy Spanish. We tried the chorizo, asada, and barbacoa tacos; the asada sopes; and the horchata. None of this is likely to induce a Meg Ryan outburst (the problem as always being good but not great tortillas), but it very definitely beats the only thing that is comparably priced - fast food. Next time you're headed toward Walmart or Burlington Coat Factory and feeling a bit peckish give Superior a try.
