Can anyone comment on the food/chef/owner of Tresca in the North End?
It looks like Tresca is in the former location of Via Valverde (and in fact the Via Valverde website now points to Tresca). Was this just a renaming or were there changes in the management or kitchen staff?
Also, any relationship between Tresca and the (now closed) Trattoria à Scalinatella? My understanding is that the former chef at Scalinatella was at Via Valverde, but according to the Tresca website is no longer there. I was a big fan of Scalinatella and wonder if they are still around.
