I took my wife to dinner last night at Tre Venezia in Pasadena last night to celebrate her finishing her Masters program. What a mistake!
The waiter never really acknowledged our presence from the start. We had to stop someone for bread, for water, for a menu. It really was terrifying.
We ended up buying a $50 carafe of wine (way beyond our budget) yet could not get the attention of our waiter for the remainder of the order.
Certainly, this was some horrible joke that I would prefer never to revisit. We paid for our wine and left stunned and saddened by the fact that our night would be so ruined by a careless and indifferent management and staff.
Just my opinion, but true none the less.
