Three of us ate last week at the new Tray Kitchen between Fremont and Ballard. It's Korean-ish small plates, some on a set menu and some brought around on trays, dim-sum style. Off the menu, we had the Korean fried chicken, kimchi sausage, and black cod. From the trays we had broccoli, lamb, ribs, apple/brussel sprout salad, carrots, and maybe something else I am forgetting. The ribs, broccoli, chicken, and cod were especially great. Everything else was very good, except for the sausage, which was okay but bland.
Service was good. The acoustics were atrocious—not a soft surface in the place. Couldn't hear a thing.
