My wife and I are visiting Rome for three weeks this October. I'd appreciate hearing people's recommendations for good, non-touristy spots to eat.
We've rented an apartment on via della Lungara near Ponte Mazzini but we're mobile and plan on checking out many of the other neighbourhoods in the city.
We're also planning on cooking at home as well. It looks to me like Campo d' Fiori and the Ghetto are the closest spots for food shopping. Are there particular stores people would recommend? Neither of us have food allergies.
