I bought some Gravlax salmon (Vacum sealed) yesterday in a supermarket which doesn't expire until the 2nd of January.
It's a gift for a family member and taking it from Finland to the UK.
The total travelling time from when it was out the fridge until when it's back in a cold one at my mums house in England is about 8 hours.
Luckily Finland and the UK are pretty cold so it won't be exposed to warm temperatures but I would like to hear any advice on wether you think it would be safe to eat in the next couple of days?
Don't want to give anyone food poisoning for New Years!
