Question for the 'Hounds who travel. What sites are you using for food recs when traveling? I used to do extensive research on Chowhound before any trip that I made. Now however, many of the peripheral city boards have little to no traffic on them, making finding current recs extremely difficult. I use Eater quite a bit, but I find that the restaurants Eater promotes are all similar despite location, and it doesn't have sites for a lot of places (Phoenix for instance).

Are there any other websites that 'Hounds are using for trusted food research similar to what was found on the old Chowhound?
