Thanks to Travel Zoo

Last night we ulilized our Travel Zoo coupon to check out Vintage Lounge. I had read mixed reviews of the place so we wree cautious. Our deal was one app, 2 mains, and two glasses of wine. For the appetizer we selected the summer antipasto. One of the best antipastos we have ever had. We then ordered the grilled tuna (all reviewers I saw liked it). We agreed it was very good. Two rings of delicata squash came with it and these were better then the way we prepare them at home. Saturday night is a good time to go. Being in the financial district means it is kind of dead there on a Saturday night, There was one waiter. She did everything for the 5 tables that were filled while we were there. She served us bread, water, wine, dinner and cleaned the table. She was great (the dry white wine she suggested for us was spot on) but overworked. Our feeling was with the coupon we got a great deal. Without it , the overall experience (this considers food, decor, service, the weird noise that occured everytiime the door to the kitchen opened,) was probalby not worth the $105 dinner would have cost.
