I know that there have been reports of uneven service here, but we decided to give it a go last night.
I think the key is to get in either before or after the rush, because the kitchen is small and can get backed up quickly.
The proscuitto and melon appetizer was good.
We split a pasta with mushroom and sausage, and it was delicious. Penne perfectly cooked, with mushrooms, sausage meat and tomato blended into a spicy ragu.
Wife had NY steak with mustard sauce - tender and juicy, with sides of spinach and mashed potatos
I had veal stuffed with proscuitto and fontina - this was really tasty, a good recommendation from our server. Same sides as wife's, with the addition of some carrots.
Dessert was a panna cotta with strawberries that was very satisfying.
A good outing.
