Transporting homemade donuts

Hi hounds! I would like to being my boss some homemade donuts to show my appreciation for her supporting me- they're her favorite.
She likes filled donuts but I can make glazed or powdered, since I think the filling would make them gross and soggy.
Would they get gross regardless? Would a glaze help keep them nice and crispy on the outside? Should they cool out of the fryer before I bring them? Any suggestions how I should pack them?
I live about 20 minutes from work and would like to bring them in the morning. I have no problem waking up early to fry them.

I might use pre made biscuit dough because I love the way that turns out plus it's easy.
