What are your traditional recipes/food customs for celebrating New Year's

Regional, ethnic or just family custom?

Here in South Florida with the Hispanic influence, we usually eat 12 grapes at midnight. And in my family we always have a New Year's Eve meal of appetizers with no main. So tonight we'll be having camarones al ajillo, spanakopita triangles and miniature blintzes.

When I cook for larger groups, I always include bittersweet double chocolate mini tartlets that are super easy to make, but since it's just DH and I for dinner (going out to parties after dinner) this will be the first year w/o the tartlets in quite a while.
