I posted this inquiry on the Home Cooking board but should've ask my QC counterparts directly :) Here it goes!

My bookclub is celebrating its tenth anniversary in September and we'll have a lunch potluck as we always do on our anniversary. We are reading a book by Quebec author and decided to make a Quebec inspired lunch. So far we will be bringing:

I'm For Mains
Onion soup
Baked beans
Mushroom tourtière
Green salad

For afters we have a Quebec cheeses, baguette, and a blueberry something.

We need a fish/chicken/beef/lamb main, an appertiser, and a couple of veg sides - what would you suggest? There are vegetarian and pescaterian and no-pork eaters in the group but no allergies.

TIA!
