I put 2 packages in the freezer, and forgot about them. Do you think they are still good? They are in the original packaging, but some parts look a little 'whitish' in color. Is smoked salmon not a thing that should be frozen? And, how long should an upopened package be kept in the refrigerator? The packaging is pretty tight, so I assume they are fairly airtight and stay fresh a long time. But I don't want to take any chances eating something that is a bit spoiled.
Note to self: clean out freezer and refrigerator more often!
