In town for BCS championship, need a couple of recs in Scottsdale

atlfoodfan | Jan 4, 201111:40 AM     5

We'll be spending the weekend in Scottsdale, staying at the Courtyard Scottsdale Old Town on North Scottsdale road. We already have a dinner set up at The Mission. Looking for good breakfast and lunch places. Any good Mexican or Southwestern places we shouldn't miss? Any classic diners in the area for a good breakfast? Is Grimaldi's worth going to for pizza? Also, are there any good sports bars in that area for watching the NFL playoff games on Sunday?

Finally, we'll be spending Monday at Westgate in Glendale getting ready for the big game. Is there one restaurant there that stands out above the rest as far as a good pre-game activity? Yard House looks pretty good.

Thanks in advance.
