I went to Town (so to speak) for lunch today and had a nice meal. It was a business lunch, so there was no sharing and tasting, but my meal (salmon tartar app.; rib-eye entree) was delicious (if too heavy for lunch, but that's my fault for ordering that way). The rib-eye came with a side order of mashed potatos that was so rich it had the consistency of gravy -- I suspect there were two sticks of butter in there, but I must admit it was terrific and went extremely well with the steak. All four of my companions ordered the veal ravioli, which looked good and, by all accounts, tasted great (although, again, being a business lunch, there was not a lot of discussion among us about the food).

The room is beautiful and the service was attentive without being overbearing. There was one mix-up with one of our orders, but the waiter was very apologetic and tried to make things right.

I fortunately didn't have to pick up the tab, so I can't comment on the bill. IIRC, it was quite pricey for lunch -- apps in the $13 to $16 dollar range; entrees in the mid to high $20s.
