Best tourist trap?

chuck98 | Mar 16, 201708:50 AM     6

Hi all, I'll be in Dublin for a day or two with some family and would like to find a dinner place that everyone will be happy with. On the one hand are the family who basically want to eat "irish stew" with some house band in a tourist-friendly pub. On the other hand is me, looking for the sort of thing an actual working-class guy would want to eat if he were in the mood for traditional cuisine.

None of us are looking to drink other than the mandatory Guinness.

It looks like O'Neill's or The Old Storehouse are decent options. Any other ideas?

Also any recommendations for which dishes to target would be great. I was thinking cottage pie or coddle.

Thanks.
