Based on recs from this board, tried Tosca for lunch. After sampling and oggling here is what I would go for if I went back:
Appetizer: Quail salad--the dressing was exceptional, the greens farm fresh. Quail drumsticks with grill marks. The Taglierini (pastas available as a 1/2 order for RW) would be a good alternate choice, but the salad would go better with the entree choice.
Entree: Veal ravioli--best pasta dish I have had in a long time, maybe ever. Do not pass this up. No need to go any further. Skip the seafood entrees. They are very good, but not as good as this ravioli.
Dessert: Strudel. At first glance, the chocolate cake app would seem like a better choice, but the strudel is definitely the winner. Raspberry w/ a dollop of vanilla ice cream. A serving of the hazelnut ice cream would be a good second choice.
Finish off with an espresso, only $2.75. Pleasantly surprised, I was expecting it to be over $5...
Overall, excellent value for the money.
