I have made many tortillas types.
A couple I enjoyed that made me really happy was my rye wrap...making a Ruben wrap. Boy have I had fun with that and my 3 pepper tortillas that goes with many fillings!
I have a little secret about doing tortillas that I think it would work in every small restaurant and home alike. It would give something very special that would make your place unique! I think. ( but I have thought I have come up with something new before...and then I find out it's been around I just never heard of it) It's not a big deal...but for me I was so excited I couldn't wait to get up and do more!
Well...here it is.
All you do is make the tortilla mix in a food processor....as much as you want. Just don't put any liquid into it.
See that was simple huh!
Now....freeze it. That's it! Now you have the making of your imagination. Add spices and/ or flavors for each patron add liquid of their choice... cook .... stuff…Roll and serve... stuff...roll and deep fry....stuff...roll and bake. I did 15 or more different types, and the different colors make it very nice if you need to do an appetizer plate! It could be listed on the menu or a board!
For Home it's great...company no problem....and you never have to worry about running out of bread....just scoop and make it into any type or just with water and roll out how big you want it...dry grill it and your off! Wrap!
