The Newfoundland board is moribund, but I'm betting there are lots of experienced Newfoundland travellers among the ON (inc.TO) board regulars.

So, for two weeks in Newfoundland, what are your Chow suggestions?

We have 2 dinners at Fogo Island Inn and 2 dinners in Trinity at Fishers' Loft and Twine Loft booked, but that leaves 10 dinners, all lunches, and St. John's wide open.

We certainly DO want the tiny bakeries and uniquely Newfoundland-ish delicacies ( DO NOT LAUGH, I hear it's great!) plus any other ideas you may want to share.

And yes, we will drive a four hours to eat and thane a stroll, and then drive back or onwards as needed.
