Toronto visit report--thanks and a recommendation

Brynda | Sep 1, 2003 10:11 PM

Our visit to Toronto went well--great city you people have. We appreciated all the suggestions and wanted to let everyone know that we *loved* White Brothers Fish and Chips (I am the one with the homesick British husband), Ed's Real Scoop, Carnival Bakery at St. Lawrence Market, and The Nutty Chocolatier. All of these were wonderful suggestions and were not places we were likely to find on our own, so thank you all.

We ran into a place that we both really liked, so I wanted to repay your kindness by recommending it. It is called Cafe Crepe, and as the name suggests, they specialize in crepes, although they also do grilled paninni sandwiches as well. We had both sweet (dark chocolate, banana, and hazelnut) and savory (Europa ham, feta, and spinach) crepes, and both were delicious--so much so that we went back the second day and had a second helping. Yum. It is located on Queen Street West, just past McCaul and is right across from the City TV building with the car coming out of it.
