We will be in NY in May for 4 nights. Staying in midtown but willing to travel throughout Manhattan or to Brooklyn. Adventurous eaters, interested in mix of places... fun/small/cheaper/ethnic and blowout dinner spots. Prior visit we hit Gramercy Tavern (our favourite), Lupa (also good but we have comparable Italian at home),Cafe Boulud (found it a bit dull/stuffy) and Artisanale (found it fun & unique), Chez es Saada (fun evening - not about the food!). Prefer to emphasize things we don't do well in Toronto (probably not Asian, Italian, Greek). Considering Bouley, Craft, Fleur de Sel, Le Bernardin, Veritus, Biltmore Room. Have been to French Laundry so not considering Per Se. Suggestions?
