I'm so glad I watched. It was the anti-hoopla of part 1.
Tom cooked a great meal for the finalists and talked to them in a "normal atmosphere." Golly, that was refreshing. And I love that he put such time and effort in, as a way to commune with the finalists.
They cooked their hearts out with their mentors as sous' and Jeremy won. Doing torchon in 2 days instead of 3.
I hope Amar got to talk to Charlie about the past as it seemed to weigh on Amar's heart a little.
