I almost regret that I'm posting this, as it may cause our favourite spot to be over-run. If that happens, that's awesome for Mark-San.
Each time we leave Tomo I feel on top of the world. As though nothing bad is going to happen. It's that good. The fish is fresh and the cuts are made for your taste once Mark-san knows you. Squid is good here. Fresh, tender, with a bite (of course), but the flavour--oh my God. It is so good. And I'm not usually a fan of chewy sushi. When you don't know what you want, he makes it. Then, when you ask for his specialty, he'll give you something which melts and makes you rethink whatever you thought you knew about sushi.
I love this place.
