Tommy Rays - Studio City - Sunday Brunch

It was such a gorgeous day, I couldn't resist the idea of a brunch on that patio. We arrived at 10am, a few other diners there. Patio is great, even though it sits on Ventura Blvd, it's not that noisy. It's really nice to sit there on a warmish day and watch the world go by.

Food was average. Latte was one of the worst ones I have ever had and it wasn't very hot. I had Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes that were served with bacon or sausage. I had bacon and it was bad, and I love bacon, I live for bacon and will usually enjoy most bacons but this one was just totally overdone. The ricotta cakes were very nice, thin, crispy and flavorful. Hubby had an omlette with steak, mushrooms and tomatos. He liked it. Toast he had with it was good.

I can't get over how a place open for breakfast can have such bad coffee and bad bacon, I mean those are breakfast staples.

Hubby wants to go back, I don't.
