Last week I ate at Tommy Bahama's in Naples, Fl. Had the tortilla soup and Cuban sandwich. Both were excellent. I am now in search of the recipe for the tortilla soup. I have seen a couple replications online, but am wondering if anyone has the inside scoop on the real deal recipe.
Or, if you have made a version at home, I'd love to see it. TB's tortilla soup is definitely blended at the end, as it is somewhat thick and murky (in a good way). It also had chunks of baked chicken and of course, fried corn tortilla strips on top.
