Went here last night and thoroughly enjoyed dinner. The space was formerly Odessey and it is small but the owners have it nicely decorated and it has a welcoming cozy feel.
Service is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our server pointed out some of the interesting items.
We ordered a lot of food and shared everything. Goong Gaborg were cilantro and garlic prawns wrapped in egg roll skins, deep fried and served with plum sauce. Very tasty and crispy texture.
As good as these were the fresh spring rolls were awesome. Rice paper rolls stuffed with lettuce, cucumbers, mint, cilantro, onions and we split the order between shrimp and chicken. This was a large serving and were light and flavorful, just perfect.
We split a large Som Tum salad, shredded green papaya, tomatoes, chili peppers & ground peanuts tossed in a savory lime vinaigrette. Nice assortment of flavors and good but not overwhelming heat.
Entrees kept pace, Pumpkin Delight was large shrimp, pumpkin, green beans, squash, onions in a savory broth. Flavors were distinct, just a touch of heat in this dish.
Green Curry with chicken was a great balance of flavor and heat, made with bamboo, zucchini, green beans, bell peppers and basil. Both entrees were excellent.
Enjoyed a small carafe of Riesling with dinner which was quite a bargain.
Way too full for dessert, will try next time as we will be back for sure.
