It's still too early in Eastern Washington to do any planting, but I'm starting to think about tomatoes. I've tried starting tomatoes from seed in the past, which has failed miserably. Is it possible to get seedlings started indoors without a grow light? I got a little cheap plastic seed starter tray with peat pellets and I've been putting it outside during the day, but I don't know if that will be enough. I'm not really not invested enough in gardening to want to spend the $ on a grow light. I expect I'll end up having to buy some plants, but if anyone has some tips for starting plants indoors, I'd love to hear them.
