Tokyo Help Needed: June 2 – June 5

nickstang | May 21, 201903:38 PM     4

I'm going to Japan for the first time in my life in June. I'll be in Tokyo from June 2 to June 5 (before that I'll be in Shizuoka, but I have that all planned.). i've been reading various posts here, trying to do my homework, and I am completely overwhelmed. I am not even sure where to start. I'd like to do one big splurge meal, preferably sushi, and I'm willing to pay top dollar for that (up to ca. 30,000 JPY). I'd like to make that reservation ASAP but I'm not sure how to, given that I don't speak a word of Japanese and my hotel does not have a concierge. Other than that, I'm pretty open, though I'm very interested in unagi and anago. Any help that can be offered to a Japan neophyte would be much appreciated.
