Inspired by a dish I saw in a magazine (included mentaiko, spicy cod roe, which I did not have, so went without)...
put tofu in a gratin dish (I used oboro, very soft, but will go with any tofu)
season with salt and pepper
layer with some mayonnaise (Japan`s #2 condiment after soy sauce)
top with cheese (Cheddar in my case)
pop in toaster oven, wait for beautiful color on cheese and voila!
broke down and topped with some Tabasco
declious and somewhat healthy (overlooking the mayo)
