We're going to Milan this June with our daughter, who will be 16 months old. I'm just starting to narrow down restaurants now and while I want every meal to be delicious, I also don't want to bring her anywhere where we'll be getting the side eye all night for having a baby in tow. Antica Trattoria della Pesa basically told me we weren't welcome there with a small child, so I want to make sure we're going where we're not an inconvenience!
Right now I'm looking at Un Posto a Milano (they have a kid's menu, so I know we're fine there), Ratana, and Trippa. We've only got one dinner and two lunches before we head to E-R, so I want to make the most of our meals.
Looking for authentic Milanese, all three places could be old-school or a mix of that and more modern takes. Basically whatever we can't find in Manhattan. I have a big list that I've culled from the boards, but would love guidance on places that are welcoming for young kids.
Thanks in advance for your help! (And look out for a similar post for places in E-R once I figure out our plans...)
