Purchased on the list at La Ferme in Chevy Chase Maryland. Enjoyed it with pan seared Australian sea bass topped with fried oysters, served over celery root and potato puree with Pommery mustard sauce (me) and Roast tournedo of salmon served over a warm vegetable flan with Pinot Noir sauce (my wife.)
The wine has been able to mature and show the complexity one wants in a Puligny-Montrachet. It still had the steely core of minerality but was suprisingly sweet with subtle citrus and peach flavors. Well balanced and just understated enough to be intriguing. Probably drinking at its best right now but could go a few more years without any difficulty.
