Tired of eating out

P. Bleekman | Sep 2, 2002 05:50 PM

My family is from the Fort Worth area, and my wife and I are busy professionals. We eat out almost nightly, or at least order in, which is starting to get pretty costly, plus the food is usually so-so. I'm also starting to turn into a porker from all of the great restaurant food every night. We just saw an article on our local news channel talking about personal chefs who come into your home and make restaurant quality food, and store it for you to eat when you get home. Have any of you folks ever used one of these services? My wife has called a service named 'Chef on the go.' Anyone ever heard of them? I'm just wondering if we're going to get our money's worth. The chef is supposed to come to our home on Wednesday for our first meeting, and then possibly start the 'cooking process' on Friday. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Any info from others who might have tried this 'chef on the go' place would be greatly appreciated.
