Tips for a visit to Dublin

gretchen | Apr 10, 200201:09 PM     6

My boyfriend and I will be traveling from Texas, and staying in Dublin for a week in May (also staying in Glendalough for 2 days). Any advice/tips on *key* things to see/do would be greatly appreciated.
I have done a lot of reading ("Eyewitness Travel Guide"), and researched a lot on the internet as well - so I am somewhat farmiliar with certain areas/places.

P.S. - I empathize with those of you from Ireland who spoke of how people oftentimes stereotype you. We who live in Texas do not all ride horses, eat chicken-fried steak every day and live on farms (ha)!!!!
