Tips for an NC Hound in Montreal and QC

Remsleep | May 1, 201712:57 PM     2

For her combination graduation / birthday present, my younger daughter asked if I would take her to Montreal and Quebec City. We're heading up for 5 days at the beginning of June. Beyond St. Viateur, Fairmount, and Schwartz's, I know little of what's available in either place, except, of course Joe Beef, which has no tables available while we are there, at least according to their on-line booking site. Would love to know about unique foodie options in both places. Only real exclusion would be places that require a jacket and tie. Cuisines that we are most interested in are Quebecois/locavore, French, Jewish, Italian, Vietnamese, Chinese.

We will be staying in Outremont while in Montreal and St. Roch while in QC and will have a car.
