Tips Of Making Flavored Olive Oils?

I'm attempting to make a bunch of infused olive oils and wondering if anyone on the board has done so.

Is it as simple as just infusing the source (chilis, rosemary etc..)?

I've heard that heating the oil with the infusion is another option.

Any tips or infusion ideas would be greatly appreciated.
