Assume you go out for a dinner in a nice L.A. restaurant and the food part of the bill comes to $100 for two. If you order a $25 bottle of wine with the dinner how much should you tip on the wine part of the check? How much should you tip if you order a $250 bottle of wine? Assume no special expertise or help from a sommelier; assume you just make a choice from the wine list and tell your waiter what you want. I would assume there is no real reason for a huge tip on the $250 bottle of wine, or am I making a wrong assumption?
