Tipping on Bottle Service

NShewmaker | Dec 3, 201811:26 AM     2

Hey Guys,

I had a question about tipping on bottle service at a NYE party. I am generally a very generous tipper, but I’ve never done the VIP table with bottle service thing and wasn’t sure what would be a normal percentage for this sort of thing. I’ve looked online and I’ve seen responses ranging anywhere from a flat $50 all the way up to 25% of what the tickets for booking the table costs.

It is a table for 4 with a server (serving the whole VIP space). The event is 5 hours long

I was thinking somewhere in the $100-$200 range because it’s a fancy party and we’re not going to be getting wasted and ordering shots and all that jazz, but I want to make sure I’m totally not undertipping for something like this.

Any thoughts appreciated.
