A chef at a resturant has offered to make us one of his "specials" that he has not made in a while. I don't think that it will be available to other customers that night, because that day's menu has already been published on the restauant's web site, and it is not on it. A co-worker of mine has said that because of this, I should tip the chef $50, separate from any tip for the serving and support staff. The basic cost of the meal will be $75, plus tax and tip. Is that typical?
