Some people have been posting questions about Tinoco's Bistro at 310 E. Warm Springs, so Helen MS and I had dinner there last night. It was a wonderful meal and we had the restaurant to ourselves. We split the shrimp scampi appetizer, I had the veal piccata upon recommendation of the waiter and Helen had the seafood fettucine. Meals come with either salad or soup, and we both had a great salad. Dessert was flourless chocolate cake that was warm and accompanied by ice cream. Service was terrific. The wine list is small but has some interesting choices on it and they're happy to recommend something if you're unsure as to what will pair best with your dish.
The waiter did tell us it fills up on weekends when they have a jazz pianist playing so make reservations if you're going on those nights. I can't wait to go back again. Right, Helen?
